Hm. Good question. I can only answer personally. Some people are just “flirty” because they’re being kind people. Others cross the line and when you’re in a relationship, you need to solidify that line if someone’s try to flirt their way across it. Generally, if people try to flirt with me online, I’m just like “Um. No.” if it’s outlandish, crazy flirty stuff. If it’s something just nice, I’ll say “thanks” and be done with it.
I just think, what I’d do, is let that person know that they seem to be flirting, or such, and that it makes you feel uncomfortable (or however it makes you feel) and that you have a girlfriend.
